NEW WEBMASTER

Ann Marie Harmony is our new webmaster. Bob Bickford has taken a deserved rest and become our Webmaster Emeritus. Ann Marie has already kicked into action getting our HTML versions of Oceania Oracle back issues up-to-date and upgraded all back issues to an improved format.

She is now working at getting our large Friends of the Web page up-to-date.

Here's some info about Ann Marie:

She runs a for-profit, seed business incubator, Trilogy Systems, Inc., in Silicon Valley. Begun as a self-funded collective for engineers and managers who had $1000 and a desire to contribute their time in exchange for equity in various projects, Trilogy Systems, Inc. has been in operation since September 1991. They have three graduates, three companies in revenue and three more in beta, for under a total of $50,000 in Trilogy capitalization costs. They have attracted national and international interest for their approaches and methodology.

The purpose of Trilogy Systems, Inc. is to develop a portfolio of strong growing companies. These produce a significant Return on Investment for TSI and its investors. A typical profile includes:

Trilogy's core competence is locating innovative new companies, regardless of the technology, launching them into their chosen marketplaces, and nurturing the companies into a health and profitable position.

Start-up team labor is supplied, according to predetermined agreements in exchange for a share of the new business opportunity's equity and profits. There are several benefits to this approach: a major portion of the development cost, the engineering labor, is avoided; the NBO develops a product for commercialization without accruing undue liabilities; and those responsible have a compelling reason to complete their tasks in an efficient timely manner.

GENEROUS DONATION

We would like to thank Bob Bickford for his financial donation to The Atlantis Project. (Wow labor and money. What more could you want?)

OCEANIA PIONEER'S BUSINESS CLUB

We are in the process of forming a business club for Oceania passport holders. If you have paid for an Oceania passport and would like your business listed for free on our web pages which get 30,000 hits/week, send me e-mail. It is important that libertarians start buying from each other instead of supporting other collectivists.

KEN BEAL DAY

Time for our second Ken Beal Day! (First was in issue #13.) In issue #20, I mentioned that my former crazed partner was suing me for every reason under the sun. Ken Beal provided $500 to cover legal fees and this seems to have been enough to stop my attacker. (I have already paid Ken back on this amount.) If my attacker was going to continue his case, his lawyer should have submitted legal work over a month ago. He didn't. Thanks again to Ken for helping out when the going was tough.

It is people like Ken Beal who make a big difference in the world. Very few people stick by you when life isn't going well for you.

OCEANIA SECRET .SIG SOCIETY

Henrik Edlund, Valerie Cline, Lejay, Josh Hays, Obaid Bengali, John Bischoff, and Ben Nelson have joined this society which adds the following .sig to all their messages:
