WEB SITE

It has been determined that it would be best for the health of the Oceania web site if we got into the service provider business. This would give us more control over the site that Oceania and related projects are based at.

Two offers have appeared to help make this happen. The first offer had someone offering to put up approximately $10,000 to set up the web site provider. After great deliberation this offer has been turned down because unfortunately this person was unable to offer any tech support along with this web site. This was a very rare moment for me, I almost never turn down money. Especially about $10,000!

The other offer has been accepted. A person is willing to put up one half of the money to set up a web site provider and is willing to provide tech support. This offer is strongly being pursued and at this time about 2/3rds of the money to set up the web site provider has been raised. We are looking for big and small time venture capitalists from which to raise the remainder of the capital needed. Send e-mail for details. Note that if I did not have this second offer, I would have accepted the first offer and would have been the only source of tech support for the joint venture.

I hope to announce in the next issue of Oceania Oracle the launch of a new provider. At this time, the provider will be offering junior and senior accounts.

Senior accounts will cost $200/setup and $100/mth and will include 50 megs of web/ftp space, 3 telnet accounts, a listserver, your own domain name, cgi-bin access including redirection capability, and additional space at $1/meg.

Junior accounts will cost $100/setup and $50/mth and will include 5 megs of web/ftp space, 1 telnet account, a listserver, your own domain name, cgi-bin access including redirection capability, and additional space at $5/meg.
